Is there a way to disable keyboard shortcuts inside ArcPro? I want to disable F3 from being used to Square and finish a line segment.
Additionally, is there a way to see what a key stroke is assigned as a keyboard accelerators?
Why were customizable keyboard short cuts like in ArcMap not included in ArcPro?
To answer your last question, they are. Sort of. Are they in an easy-to-find, intuitive spot? Maybe not!
You have to go into the Customize the Ribbon tab of Settings to find them. (No ArcMap experience here, so I've no idea how that compares.) And finding existing accelerators is even less clear. You have to know what the tool is, then search for it, and if it has an accelerator, maybe you'll see it.
If you can, that's also where you can either change the keyboard shortcut, or remove it entirely.
Unless someone else has additional insights, it would appear that not every shortcut is editable. Things like F2 for finishing a sketch or D for a distance override maybe can't be changed?
According to this recent thread (https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-keybind-accelerator-customization/idi-p/94...), Pro 3.0 has some enhancements around keyboard shortcuts, so that may be worth looking into as well.
I would love if Pro could just give you a list of assigned shortcuts. Maybe worth posting as an idea, if nobody has yet.
There are a significant amount of key bindings that are no longer editable in Pro that were in ArcMap.
Here is a list of shortcuts/key bindings.
