Could someone tell me the logical differences behind these analysis methods?
I am merging a point or polygon layer to another polygon layer. I tried using summarize within and spatial join to merge the point layer to a polygon layer, but got different results. Using the polygon version of that same point layer, I used "have their centers in" to merge one polygon layer to another, but the results are slightly different to the results produced using summarize within.
