I've used Create Locator with Street Address Role and another with Address Point Role. What I am seeing in my testing is that the results don't include anything with a score lower than 100. I have adjusted the minimum match and candidate scores to 60 and 65. The issue I am having with not getting multiple results is when someone searches for an address that contains a suite but does not include the suite it will not return results showing the suites. For example we have a 1000 I St, 1000 I St Ste 120, and 1000 I St Ste 170. When we search 1000 I St we would expect to get all 3 responses from the Address Point Role. However, we only get 1000 I St. In our old style (ArcMap) locator we get all 3 responses when searching with or without the suite. In the old style Street geocoder we also get multiple results showing all results with a score above 60. Is there some setting I'm missing or may this be a bug?
Searching 1000 I St with new Locators and Old Style Address (Address_Unit_City)
Searching 1000 I St Ste 120 with new Locators and Old Style Address (Address_Unit_City)
Searching 1000 I St with new Locators and Old Style Street (Street_CL_City)
Krystal - 2 things that might explain what you're seeing. The first has to do with the Subaddress in the Point Address Point role. See this link here and scroll up a little bit to the Note: field and just below that item.
Second there is an enhancement request addressing this as well - ENH-000124149 : Allow locators built with the Create Locator tool and a Point Address role to return candidates and suggestions for subaddresses when the base address is inputted
This explains the subaddress not returning with the base address. Why won't it return multiple addresses with a score less than 100 for Street Addresses?
