Copy / Paste items between Layouts = shifted result

I lodged an Idea and have been told that the behaviour I have been experiencing is not standard. A case was lodged with the local agent.

In many cases, with different versions of Pro and different computers, when I copy items from one layout they will often be pasted into a slightly shifted location in another layout; either in the same project or into another instance of Pro.

Typical example:

Copy from Layout 1:

Paste item into other instance of Pro (over other text in correct location to show arbitrary offset):

Anybody else experience this?
As mentioned, this is my 'normal' and trying to figure out which thing in my environment causes this will take time I don't really have. I run my own business and build my own computers, use vanilla Microsoft sourced Windows 10 & 11 and use the ISOs from Esri. We have a mix of AMD & Intel CPUs, Nvidia & AMD GPU.

That is odd. When I copy between layouts it goes to the same spot obviously unless my layout sizes differ. Have you called Esri support?

There must be different version of Pro floating around with the same name..... 😊
So when you copy & paste anything in a layout to another layout or in the same layout, it ends up in the same location?
For me it is 'normal' / always been the case that copying anything between layouts will see it pasted in an offset location. If you select multiple items, in some cases, they'll paste in the original location (same behaviour as ArcMap).

The Idea was to have anything and everything paste into the original location on a page.

As a non-US paying customer we have to work through a single local reseller with no alternative other than posting here... sad face. They were contacted.

When I copy and paste within the same layout it is slightly offset. I would assume this is to help you realize it has been copied and inserted successfully. When I copy and paste to a different layout the location stays the same as from the layout I copied it from.
