Hello,

My understand of the output table created using the Compute Confusion Matrix tool is as illustrated below, with the columns representing the ground truth or reference source of truth data and the rows representing the predicted, classified or mapped data.

However, in the tool reference documentation, it states the following:

"The Total row shows the number of points that should have been identified as a given class according to the reference data."

"The Total column shows the number of points that were identified as a given class according to the classified map."

Unless my understanding of the matrix output is incorrect, shouldn't the total in rows (57, 44, 65, 166) represent the number of points that were identified as a given class according to the classified map and the total in columns (54, 47, 65, 166) represent the number of points identified as a given class according to the reference data?

Thanks.

Tony
