Hello,

I am trying to find a way to compare the actual debris flow runout to a simulated runout.(Both Rasters) and quantify the results. A simple difference between areas is too coarse. Would it be possible to create a comparison so that it informs true positves(simulated=actual),false postives(simulated present when not actual)  and false negatives(no simulated but actual there) and negatives ( no simulated no actual)? image attached for reference.

Or any other approach?

Thank you

many functions in the above for condition checking.

If you want to provide a specific classification, then you could use these to provide the classes

2 rasters, A and B

conceptually

Con(IsNull(A) and IsNull(B), 0, Con(IsNull(A), 1, Con(IsNull(B), 2, 3)))  # check the closing brackets not near an IDE

... sort of retired...
