Compare the undulation of an interpolated undulation grid with the undulation of a point data set.

I have a shapefile with various points that have different attributes. These attributes include x, y and Z values as well as a value that describes the undulation. I also have an undulation raster that was created by interpolating with another point data set. The raster data set specifies the undulation. Now I would like to compare the point data set with the interpolated undulation raster. I would like to determine the deviation and statistical parameters. Can anyone help me?

I was advised to use the 'Add Surface Information' tool. However, this overwrites the Z value in my point dataset. Renaming the Z value does not help either.

You can use the Sample tool to get the values of a raster at a set of points:
