Hello everyone,
anyone else got the issue while exporting a CMYK colored map/layout into a PDF-File, that the black value (0,0,0,100) is not black anymore, when opening the file via Adobe illustrator? Here the black is more brownish (about 70,70,70,70) as you can see in the picture. I don't see any possibilities in fixing it by changing the exportsettings in ArcGIS Pro. Maybe someone got the same problem before and solved it.
Thanks for your help!
Best regards
Kevin
Interesting. I have had numerous issues when printing as printers may have their own interpretation of a color
Can you duplicate the issue using RGB.
However, what you are showing in your example is not CMYK black
Black is 0% 0% 0% 100%
Hi Kevin, did you find a fix for this? I'm experiencing similar problems that you describe except the CMYK values are all scrambled.
We send our maps to an external printer and would like to use 100% black for printing black linework and text.
Cheers, Lisa
Same question! Has anyone found a solution? I make sure black is 0,0,0,100 and yet is still isn't 100% black when opened in Adobe.
