I need to make a schema change to one of my enterprise db layers. i turned off the services in that feature dataset, right clicked on it from the data owner connection, and saw no locks in the list, but i still couldn't make edits due to a lock. that object didn't even appear in the list of possible items when browsing objects from the sde connection list to find and disconnect locks. this is a SQL 2022 enterprise db on ArcPro 3.4.3
Hey @imansbburg
You may need to restart your Pro, if you've connected via anything other than a direct DB connection, it may have dropped your own connection. Once restarted, attempt to navigate to it and make the change, also if it's within a dataset, right click and check those locks, and then finally check the overall DB locks. I've found sometimes I will need to be at the root DB to see all locks, and disconnect from there!

I did restart pro a couple of times, even started without a template and connected fresh to the db both as data owner and db owner. still strangely i couldn't even browse the object in the list.
welp, now that i remembered one legacy layer was still using the same domain i was looking to change, i went and disconnected all locks from that, and then had success updating the domain. silly me!
