Can you add a conditional expression in dynamic text with reports?

I would like to know if you can add a conditional expression in dynamic text to reports?   

for example,  have an element that would display an "X" if a conditional field value was true.

something like this:

Kory Kramer, is it possible to manipulate dynamic text using a faux conditional statement in ArcGIS Pro (reports or otherwise)?

What if you set up a field in the table that used Arcade to handle the condition?  Then show that field in the report.

I thought about that too but I didn't want to create a new field in my table since this is something that will be regenerated from time to time from a CSV table.

I was kind of also hoping for extra special statements to where if the field is "Yes" then the text background turns green. If "No" then it turns red... But that likely isn't something I can do in reports.

It looks like that request has been around for a while for attribute tables: https://community.esri.com/ideas/4642 I'm not sure about the technical feasibility of conditional formatting, but you could submit an idea for the same in ArcGIS Pro Reports!
