Hi:

Think of a dissolved buffer feature created from a XY point feature with Radius R centered in each point. T

One the required parameters  is the distance R (Radius) from the point feature. ArcGIS creates the buffer and end of story.

However,. I'm not particularly interested in the buffer other than its area and population as a function of R.

The objective is to create a table of population density averages for various values of R (for example, (0, 10) miles with 1 mile steps.

I know how to do this by creating the actual buffer with a defined R and then, calculate averages using the summary tool. However, this is unworkable for variable R.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks a million!

Sergio.
