Basemap Credits

In ArcGIS Pro, for each map there is a small icon in the bottom right of the window to 'show credits for service layers'. You click on the icon, you get a dialog box listing the providers/makers of the basemap.

I created a layout containing two maps. In neither map are the credits displayed as text on top of the basemap. When I export to PDF (or print), the credits appear.

How do I prevent the credits from appearing in the output? If I want to keep the credits, can I manipulate the text?

Insert dynamic text > Service Layer Credits. Manipulate the text there and the export won't have the big credits on the lower right of the map.

To prevent credits from appearing in map:

1. Insert dynamic text
2. pick "service layer credits"
3. drag them out of the map layout.

This way you won't display any credits for those layers if that's what you're after.
