Is there a tool for importing a specific AutoCAD layer (and not the whole drawing) into a ArcGIS Pro file geodatabase?  Thank you.

I don't think so.

You could use the Data Interoperability Extension for this (If you have it).

Or you could choose Add Data, browse into the CAD file and select the geometry type, add it, and put a definition Query on the Layer field.

In all other cases, I think you need to import everything into a temporary geodatabase and then select what you need using a filter on the Layer field.
