ArcPro allows me to label my 2d streets layer just fine. When I add the same streets layer to a Scene inside of ArcPro on either the 2d or 3d divisions in TOC, the label class parameters are unavailable on the feature (Positioning, Fitting Strategy, and Conflict resolution). The labels do not render. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I perform the same action on the supplied Esri trial data and labeling works fine in 3d Scene. Are there additional parameters necessary for my streets layer? I haven't had this problem on earlier ArcScene versions and was using pretty much the same streets data.

The additional labeling modifiers for Positioning, Fitting Strategy, and Conflict resolution turn off when inside of a 3D view. However, when available modifiers are used for 3D labeling, the tools act like they function and the preview pane shows the label in perspective but this is not showing on the actual map view. Anyone have any ideas?
Did you ever figure it out? I have the same problem..
I was wondering the same thing?
I found a workaround (I think).
If you set up the labeling parameters in a 2D window, then copy/paste that layer from the 2D window to the 3D window, then those layer properties carry over. So - I keep both windows (2D and 3D) open, and "Link" them so that they are synchronized views (optional). I then use the 2D window to tweak any properties that need tweaking (including symbology, etc.), since it renders faster anyway. When ready, I then remove any old version of the layer in the 3D window and replace it by pasting the revised 2D layer. Doesn't seem that all labeling parameters are quite right though ...
I also do some data editing, like building height values used for extrusion, in the 2D window, and the changes reflect in the 3D.
