How To: Create an ArcMap 10.3 startup log describes how to create a log file for ArcMap. However it creates that log file in the <argis install directory>\bin. I was able to create the logfile there by running the command line window "as administrator".
The problem is I run ArcMap as my normal login, and that log file is in read only area of my c:\ drive. Is there a way to create a log file that I can actually use?
That should just about do it....
