Hi everyone,
I have created a rather large task in ArcGIS Pro and since upgrading from 3.2.2 to 3.5.2 the Get Attributes steps are no longer working - they are blank and when I Click Next Step I get this error message "Attribute errors exist. Ensure all mandatory fields contain values."
If I create a new task item in catalog and add the same Get Attributes step, it works.
Is there any way to fix it? I dont want to rebuild the whole task from scratch?
Hi Cherie,
As they say - all things are related...
I've had some weird behaviour in GP tools in Pro 3.5.x where it will reject an input when the input layer is dragged in or selected from the dropdown within the content of a map. The error in that case is 'there are spaces in the path'.
If the same source data is browsed to from within the tool, it works fine; and there are spaces in the path 🙂
Using the same project & tools on a machine with 3.3 installed, everything behaves as it should.
I get the impression that some of the new low level processes in Pro 3.5.x are broken due to them fixing some of the bugs we had in 3.3/3.4. My experience with 3.5 has been unpleasant so far.
