ArcGis Pro - State of continuous refresh

Using Pro 3.5.2

I have now had several instances where Pro gets stuck in a state of continuous refresh. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it feels as if the F2 key gets stuck.

You'll be working away and the next moment it will just start refreshing the map ever second or so.

Has anyone else experienced this?

There isn't any time-based data or anything time based that I've set up in the map - it can be as simple as having two vegetation layers from a state FGDB on a state basemap.

This is a very vanilla Pro install on a new machine so no Add-ins or anything else I can blame.  Had the same on another machine with 3.5.2, but that PC had been in use for a few months so too many variables peeking in the Windows..

only one reference to constant refresh with a solution

Solved: ArcGIS Pro - Constant Refresh and Screen Flicker - Esri Community

but a soft reset might be worth a check

Thanks @DanPatterson
~3 week old build so if it is a driver issue than my other comments about Pro stand.
Username different to previous builds and no domain/roaming profiles/OneDrive syncs, etc. so cannot be a carry-over from any other profile or config settings on other devices.

On the other PC I'd kept the Nvidia driver at a known good version.

Just did the manual update to 3.5.3 so we'll see what happens. (manual update due to other post saying that that fixes the "The input path contains spaces" issue.

Well barring anyone else leaping in with suggestions, Tech Support is the next step if your manual update doesn't work
