I had considered advocating a wholesale adoption of ArcGIS Pro within my department. That was until I realized that the legend capabilities severely limit our ability to replicate standard map outputs. Feature counts within current extent tops that list.
I look forward to subsequent releases that address this issue. Until then, ArcGIS Pro is on the shelf.
