Hi there,

My ArcGIS Pro 3.1 keep crashing when I get to a certain point of using the Suitability Modeler. I am able to set the criteria, but once I try to set the suitability value on a 32 bit raster (slope map) the application fails.

The interesting thing is that when I try to set the suitability value on the other two rasters (8 bit unsigned) the application runs fine.

I can't downsize the slope map to an 8bit unsigned because i need the float values. I am currently rebuilding pyramids to see if that helps anything.

Anyone have any other suggestions as to what I can do so that ArcGIS Pro stops crashing?

Thanks

SOLUTION:

1) I rebuild pyramids on the 32 bit float raster

2) I off-loaded A LOT of data from the drive running arcgis pro onto an extra drive.

Suitability Model no longer crashes when trying to set the suitability value on large 32 bit float raster
