Hello everyone,

I´m currently working on a project, where i need to add and calculate new features to my existing table.
For some reason, the Add-Button above the table doesn`t allow me to add anything new and also within the table menu i can`t add anything. the buttons are just grey an not usable.

Maybe one of you has an idea, what could be the reason for that.

thanks a lot

Sounds like you might have edits that weren't saved yet.

The Add button to add a new field gets greyed out after editing the table or adding a new feature. Here I added a new feature and did not yet press save in the edit tab: My Add button is grey.  After pressing save or discard, the Add button becomes clickable again:

If that's not it, check the data source. Make sure you are logged into your account within PRO, and check if the data source is from ArcGIS Online owned by another user; you may not have permission to add fields or make changes. If that's the case, then the best option is to run the Copy Features tool in PRO to export to your own local file geodatabase. Then you'll be able to make changes.

If you have permissions to edit the featureclass and hence its table, then clicking Add will allow you to add a field.  I am assuming that it is a featureclass in a file geodatabase that you own.  Otherwise permissions and file type may disable the Add option.
