Hi,

I'm pretty sure this can be done, but I'm just not sure how to do it in ArcGIS Pro.  What I want is that whenever I add a layer to a Map, it automatically get sourced to the editing version.  I thought I had seen a setting somewhere to set this behaviour, but now that I want to do it I have no idea where to find it.  Currently all new added layers get sourced to the "Default" version instead of my own editing version.  See below:

I know I can just right-click and 'Change Version' on the Default, but I'm sure there is another way to do this.

You can do this in AGP certainly.  Right click on the SDE connection and select Geodatabase Connection Properties from the context menu.  Select the version you want to always go to.  Voila - the next time you connect to the geodatabase, it goes to your editing version instead of DEFAULT.

Was this functionality always available in Pro or did this functionality get enabled in a specific Pro version?  If so, what Pro version would that be?

Not sure when this functionality was made available.  I'm working with AGP 2.3.0.
