I have a Global Scene that contains a 3D point and 3D line feature class, and a 2D polygon feature class.

The 2D polygon (palaeocontinents) are set to an elevation that intersects the 3D classes, but features are not visible through the 70% transparent polygons?

I am running Pro 3.2.1.

Thanks

Hi @DavidKidd2, Couple of questions..

  • Can you share a screen shot of the Contents Pane?
  • What happens when you turn off the polygon, can you see the lines?
  • Do your lines have z values?

Going to be a cool looking map 🙂

Cheers

Hi Brendan

z is representing time, not that that matters.

Yes, the lines have z-values and are visible when the polygon is turned off.

Interestingly, the lines are visible through a  fishnet-genertated 'disco timeball sphere. that has z set in the layer properties. Why is this not working for the palaeocontinent layer with z set is the same way?
