I am trying to insert a circular data frame on top of another data frame. I have tried making the background "none" and changed the rounding to 100". When I export to JPEG or PNG or PDF, it still defaults to showing the extent of the square and its dimensions. Any solution?

Have you tried print to image in your PDF settings?

  1. Choose File > Print, and then click Advanced.
  2. Select Print as Image

Not sure this is what I need. Something in ArcGIS is preventing me from exporting a PDF, PNG, or JPEG without the white box.

To clarify, you aren't seeing the white box in the layout view in Pro, only when you export? Or are you seeing it in both places?

I am actually in Desktop, but yes, I am only seeing it when I export to those formats. I was able to "Clip" the data and round the edges in the data frame properties to remove the default square dimensions.

Ah I didn't realize you were in ArcMap. That's good to note.
