2.7 - Calculate geometry fails apparently because old project path

I get an error trying to run calculate geometry on some fields.  The error seems to be telling me that an old no longer existing path (at the bottom of the message) is stuck somewhere in the project.  None of the data being operated on dwells in or has anything to do with this path.  How do I get rid of this error?  Why is it even happening as the operation I'm trying to do has nothing to do with the path listed in the error message?

One workaround would be using Field Calculator for Geometry unit conversion.

e.g.

!shape.length@yards!

!shape.area@acres!

Were you executing Calculating Geometry for simple point/line/polygon? Were there any multipart geometry data? Does Calculate Geometry work when data is added to a new blank Project (Map)? What is the coordinate System of the Map and layer?

Could you share the screenshot of the Calculate Geometry tool?
