The Create Steepest Path interactive tool on the 3D Analyst toolbar should be made into a geoprocessing tool so batch processing can be used.

The 3d toolbar option only allows for single calculations, only graphic outputs, and cannot be used in model builder.  In my case I have points representing medium/large boulders and will be using explosives on a project site.  Should a boulder start to roll I need to know where it will go, assuming it will follow the steepest path.  I have many points I need to process and doing it one by one interactively is too time consuming.

This was done, not as a GP tool, but as part of Pro 3.5's Exploratory 3D Analysis tools. It will let you provide a collection of input points via a layer. It also has an option to save the output to a 3D line feature class. Since it can work in this non-interactive way for obtaining inputs, and can save outputs as features, we think this satisfies the specified requirements.
