Text Halo

Most map labels are used with halos, but there are too many clicks required to add these halos.  Why not consider moving the halo option maybe next to the font size on the label tab?

currently i must click properties>label tab>symbol>edit symbol>mask tab

Would be easier/faster to have it more readily available in a closer location.

yes, this would be great, as well as adding many other options for text like headlines.

Hi,

We've improved this in ArcGIS Pro and cut down the number of clicks considerably.  Open up the Label class pane, go to the symbol tab and expand the halo expander.  Everything you need is there.  Best part is if you choose the wrong colour you're already there and can change it without going through the whole ok ok ok button click out like before.
