Support for vector PDF

PDF files can contain the definition of vectors and in the case of a client, it can contain a full map in CAD design. 

It would be great if such kind of PDF file could directly be opened in ArcGIS for Desktop without going through a third-party software for the conversion to, for example, the dwg format.

I am assuming this would replicate as if you were bringing in a .dwg. I currently have surveyors email me their dwgs but they are very hesitant to do so and this would ease their fears.
