There is a function, DomainName(), in Arcade to retrieve the domain description for a field value in Arcade, it would nice if there was a similar function for subtype fields.
The subtype database value I want to get a hold of in my Arcade label is available in the attribute table and in the pop-up. This must mean that there already is a way for the map service to pick up (or convert the database code to) the string database value.
It is reasonable to also expect this value to be usable from the Arcade window, just like how other domain values are available in the first tab with the "DomainName"-function. The first tab in the Arcade label window is called "Global" directly translated from Swedish.
Hope this happens soon! Depending on it for the labels I need in my map.
As Wendy pointed out, the subtype functions are now available. The version matrix shows that those were part of the Arcade 1.11 release which lined up with ArcGIS Pro 2.6 in July 2020. So I'm changing this from Needs Clarification to Implemented.
