This should be a simple request: please add snapping capabilities for points in an XY Event Layer. Thanks!

@AlexZhuk Can you please confirm if the XY Event Layer that you have includes ObjectIDs? You can check in the layer properties source tab:

Thanks for any clarification!

Interesting... Just ran a test. Created an event layer, based on Excel table. It has ObjectID "32-bit" and it does have snapping abilities. Thanks! I guess you can close the idea.

This is implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.3. See Your Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.3 for a full list of all user ideas you can look forward to! And be sure to check out the release blog and what’s new help topic and video to learn more about all the new features and functionality in the release.

@KoryKramer Does this only work with Excel? I've got a .csv file I've created an Event Layer from (in 3.3) but it still say's "ObjectID = None"

I don't want my data in Excel. It is a nightmare to deal with the funny business that Excel does to tabular data. Having a .csv or .txt format is usually preferred. (well having it in a geodatabase is preferred but not always possible when sharing data between applications.)

Also, where is this new functionality documented?
