Right now when moving map frames in the layout, you are only able to get snapping guides to the edge of the frame, which sits inside any grid tabs you may have.

It would be preferable to have snapping to the outside of the grid tabs. For example, snapping that would put the map about here:

You can eyeball it (ick!), or manually increment your positioning settings by the height of your tabs in the meantime.

I'm not sure if this would best be implemented as a grid-specific setting or something more overarching, since any layout element with an X or Y gap greater than 0 (defined in the Element pane) behaves similarly - no snapping to the actual outline, only the extent of the frame -- both very frustrating in a design-focused workflow.
