Please provide the ability to see the full filename (with or without full path) of the recently used files.
Yet it is not possible to see the full name of the recently used mxds (unless it is a really short one)

ArcGIS Pro does not have a File menu that lists recent files. Instead, recently used ArcGIS Pro projects are listed on the start page in the Recent Projects list, and there the projects are indeed displaying their full path in a wide column. In the case where the path is too long and displayed with ellipses, you can hover over the path and see the full path in a pop-up:

When you are in a open project, you can see the same Recent Projects list (with the full path display for the project files) in backstage, Open tab:

Similarly, project file paths are displayed in browse dialog boxes, for example, in the Open Project dialog box (which you can bring up by clicking the Open another project button in the Start Page or backstage Open tab, or by clicking the Open Project button on the QAT above the ribbon).  In this dialog box, a project file will have its path displayed in the Path column, and the path of its parent folder displayed in the location bar of the dialog box:

We are closing this idea since ArcMap and ArcCatalog are in mature support, and since this functionality is already offered in ArcGIS Pro.
