It would be very convenient to have an option to resize Map layout to a specific page-size and have auto-scale all the elements without manually adjusting every element or have different versions of mxds for sizes.

Just looking into this now as I'm bringing in multiple mxds to create a new project in Pro. I'm wanting to up-size some pages from A4 to A3 for consistency within the project. In ArcMap you would just check a box when resizing the layout, but can't seem to find an equivalent in Pro.

Hi @PawanVuppala

ArcGIS Desktop retired March 1, 2026 so we won’t be considering this idea. We recommend that you migrate to ArcGIS Pro, our fully supported desktop GIS application.

In ArcGIS Pro, you can duplicate a layout to create a new version of a layout at a different size, without impacting the original layout. You choose the size and name for the new layout, and decide whether you want the element and text size adjusted automatically on the page.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas. We truly appreciate your contributions to continuously improving the software to help you do your work and look forward to what ideas you have for ArcGIS Pro.
