In the ArcCatalog/ArcMap environment a new Database Connection only needs to be added once. It then exists in either of the GUIs and only needs to be clicked to connect and view/add data.
In Pro, Database Connections are saved per project. For every new project all of the database connections need to be added again. Every. Time. For a company that creates maps for each user request, this is a big time suck.

Thank you.
I'm in 1.3 so I cannot take a look at this. I'm talking specifically about going to Add Data and having existing Database Connections saved in the dialog that opens. If Favorites is a step where I first have to add the saved Database Connection to the project, and then I go to Add Data and it's there, then that is not what I am looking for since that's still an extra step to establish existing connections.
