We export our assessment maps to TIFF's. Previously in ArcMAP we could export in black and white which works perfect for the maps we provide for the public. Unfortunately ArcGIS Pro only allows grayscale. This doesn't work well considering some of our notations are done in a variety of colors to help us quickly differentiate when working on updates.
@DianeBaker in your usage of 1-bit, are you using threshold or monochrome mask?
@JeremyWright It's been a while but I used Threshold with a resolution of 600 dpi I believe. Soon after I posted this I had to change all my text to black and all my lines to black in order to accommodate the 8bit grayscale option and still export my maps from Pro.
This is available in ArcGIS Pro 3.3. You can learn more about it and other new features in What's New in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.
Thank you so much!!
