Would be nice to have the option to create versions below a staging version directly below the default version.  The editors would then be able to edit these versions with a fabric and then reconcile and post to the staging version prior to a push to default.  Currently, we are only able to create versions directly from default.  This is a limited workflow.

There are currently no plans to support this workflow in ArcGIS Pro. If this need remains unmet, we encourage users to open a new idea related to the current software and versioning model.
