When sharing a package, it is occasionally for external stakeholders who have requirements on the coordinate reference systems they use - something that would save time when packaging for these groups would be an option when creating project or map packages to reproject all packaged data/maps to use a specific coordinate reference system, while leaving the source data alone. For small projects this can be done manually, but for larger projects, it is time consuming or requires scripting.
