One Pane Symbology - Arcgis Pro

When editing the symbology of a layer, it is quite laborious to swap back and forth between the "Gallery" tab and the "Properties" tab in the symbology pane.  It would be helpful if the Pro behavior mirrored the Arcmap behavior, where you could select a style template and change the size and colour in one tab/ window, without having to either open a new window to the style manager, or switching back and forth between the gallery, the format symbol, and the properties panes.
