modify defaults for Point Profile Graph

We use the Point Profile tool to create profile graphs from 3D points.  Sometimes, we have to create many of these to examine our data.
The default point symbolization in the profile graph is not ideal.  The points are too big, and don't match the symbolization used in the point feature layer.
You can change the point size manually, once the graph is created.  But you have to do this every time you create a new profile graph; I have hundreds to create.
There doesn't seem to be an option to match the symbolization to the feature layer (the "Match with layer" option doesn't do this).
I would like to see:
- an option to change the default point symbol (especially size), so that graphs automatically open with a smaller point size; and
- an option to match the symbolization to the feature layer, possibly also by default.
