I switched over to the metadata editor and I like the look and feel.

There are some things that I keep trying to do, and there is no functionality that matches.

  1. I want to use the breadcrumbs. Please make them links.
  2. I want to click "remaining" to see what I have Remaining
  3. Same with Errors and suggested elements
  4. I keep looking in the outline to see what's done and what's missing.

Thanks for your consideration

Hi @JenniferBorlick !

Thank you for your feedback.

Based on the screenshot, it appears you are working in the All Metadata tab rather than the Essential Metadata tab. The actions you described are supported in the Essential Metadata section.

The Essential Metadata tab is designed to help focus on completing the required metadata elements for the selected metadata style- the functionality requested below.

  • I want to click "remaining" to see what I have Remaining
  • Same with Errors and suggested elements
  • I keep looking in the outline to see what's done and what's missing.

This makes it easier to understand what has been completed and what is still missing.

In contrast, the All Metadata tab is intended for exploring and editing metadata beyond the required elements and does not provide the same guided completion experience.

I am able to see the functionality in the essential metadata. That functionality would be nice in both "views." If someone wants to fill out something more than what is deemed "essential" it should be easier and not harder to do than the essential metadata.
