Metadata editing - scroll to show active field

When editing metadata and using the tab key, scroll the display to show the field with the active text cursor. Right now I can tab down into another field (such as Summary) and begin typing into it without even seeing what I'm doing.

Most applications force a scroll to the active field, which would be helpful here.
