ArcMap has the capability to view different queries of a single dataset within a single map view using Data Driven Pages. ArcPro has similar capabilities using Map Series, but only in the layout view. I would like the capability to 'tab or scroll through' the different spatial queries within the Map View. Currently I have to go to the layout view to select the particular query then go back to the Map view. I don't need the layout view at all.
Yes this feature will be useful to make annotations cleanup.
Came across this today. Particularly annoying when using the clip to index feature option is being used.
Yes! The ability to use Map Series in the Map View would be great. I had lots of workflows in place using Data Driven Pages in ArcMap, and now those workflows are having to be re-imagined.
ESRI needs to allow the Map Series Navigation Buttons on the Map View. Currently it is only available on the Layout view. The workaround is to use the attributes pane, but this doesn't use the Map series definition criteria such as scale and rotation. It's very difficult to perform lots of editing to layers thru layout.
Please Install the Map Series Navigation Buttons on the Mapping Pane like it was in ArcMap. Currently it is only available on the Layout view. The workaround is to use the attributes pane, but this doesn't use the Map series definition criteria such as scale and rotation. It's very difficult to perform lots of editing (in a map series) thru the layout. To do so, you have to click activate/deactivate each time you need to navigate to the next location of the Map Series.
