Make Layer From Selected Features when working in a layout

For some reason the Make Layer From Selected Features option is grayed out when you're working in a layout. You have to open the map, where it functions properly.

@KoryKramer  I'm getting a 404 on that bug page now; still seeing this behavior in 3.0.3, is there a fix in the works?

Hi @wayfaringrob I agree that the link to the bug is not currently working correctly. I've asked for the Support team to look into that. 

The bug is showing as In Product Plan. It did not make it into 3.1, but we will try to get it addressed in 3.2.

This Idea has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. Please see the What's New documentation for more new features in Pro 3.2.
