I've found the Link Cursors setting immensely useful when editing. I can see where my cursor is in my layout as I move around my map. It would be even more useful if it worked when moving a feature so I could move stuff more easily -- see where it's going as I drag it. It currently just pauses where your cursor started. Sometimes having a map and layout open side-by-side is more convenient than activating the map on the layout, or sometimes I'm doing my edits on an entirely different map than the one in the layout. Linked cursors when moving would be the icing on the cake.
