Be able to check/indicate a layer to warn you if not visible when exporting. Some way of indicating which layers should always be visible for export. Constantly turning layers on and off to help with display rendering, etc... Then go to export and forget to turn layer visibility back on. This would give you a warning that a 'checked' layer is off when exporting... allowing you to ignore or turn on layer...
