It would be helpful if the measure tool opened to the mode previously used and did not delete recent measurements once closed. This used to be the case, but has changed since the last update.
I frequently open/close the measure tool, and always have to change it from planar to geodesic. It would be useful if it just stayed as geodesic once I start operating in that mode. It also does not have a memory anymore. Everytime I use the measure tool, use other tools, and then open the measure tool again, all my previous measurements are gone.
