Right now when I want to extract Zonal statistics from a buffered point, Arc does it sequentially, which means if polygons overlap, some of them have statistics calculated from just a sliver of their area.  This is a serious problem for remote sensers and everyone else who uses Arc to do vector/raster processing.  We desperately need an improved Zonal statistics algorithm that treats each point independently.

Oh, and could please fix the fact that you can't delete columns in tables in Arc 10?  that's a huge bug that cost me 10 minutes this morning to fix.

Thank you for your question. In ArcGIS Pro 2.5 you can now use the Zonal Statistics as Table tool to calculate statistics for overlapping polygon zones. The zonal analysis will be performed for each individual polygon.
