Implement capacity to view and work with new seismic data format (MDIO) in Data Interoperability extension

Although the Data Interoperability works with SEGY, there is no capability to view a recent seismic data format - MDIO, which uses cloud-friendly formats for minimized data storage and higher efficiency. This might be an opportunity for Esri to expand it's capabilities around seismic visualization. You can read more at the link below:

How does MDIO differ from the VDS standard being developed by OSDU?

Esri should not pursue any seismic data formats other than OSDU accepted formats and SEG / EAGE developed industry formats. If it's not totally open and not accepted by the user community, it's ultimately not a fruitful use of anyone's resources.
