The Go To XY tool should have a single input box where you can paste lat/lon pairs like you might copy from two adjacent cells in a spreadsheet. Add a toggle that allows you to switch between lat/lon and lon/lat.
@PeteJordan Thanks for bringing up the Locate pane. I had mostly forgotten about it.
The coordinates I want to bring up in the ArcGIS Pro map are often in lat/long format, like this:
44.723320, -77.544250
But the Go To XY widget is in long/lat format. So I need to flip the coordinates when entering them, which is an extra step:
Whereas the Locate pane seems to be able to handle either long/lat or lat/long. So that saves a step.
For what it's worth, this is the format coordinates are in when I'm copying them to the Go To XY tool in Pro:
Lat: 44.72332° N
Lon: 77.54425° W
@Bud, yes I often am getting corrdinates from places like Google so haveing to re-arrage them was always a pain to do with the extra steps to make it work in the Go To XY tool. I also like how it just makes another pane on the side of Arc that I don't have to search for. If I have my Attribute Editor up in the bottom as I often do, I have to move that, to move the Go To XY tool to a visible space on the map.
So it's now I don't have any use for that tool anymore since the Locate tool does everything better and much more efficiently...
