Feature Envelope to Polygon To Support Point Features

There are applications / tasks that would benefit from the "Feature Envelope To Polygon" tool being able to work with point features.. Also it would be good to add the option for different envelop shapes such as polygon bounding point locations XY projection. The image below generally notes the documentation on the ArcInfo tool and an application for which the function was being sought.
