When we have multi line text stored in the field, you cannot see all the info due to the fact that Table view does not display multiline info and does not allow for ROWs to be expanded to fit data stored in the field. This can be a tedious process when you are reviewing the info on the fly.

I could see this pretty quickly getting somewhat unusable if some of the table data was a little overzealous with how many lines of text were stored, but I feel like there are some reasonable accommodations that could mollify that problem.

It could be toggleable on/off, or the setting could allow us to set a maximum number of lines to expand to.

Regardless, this could be great for showing small bits of JSON that are embedded in an attribute table, or allowing a multiline field storing a map label to be more easily read/edited in the attribute table.

One other concern, though, would be the Attribute Pane.  Multiline support feels potentially more unwieldy there for reasons I can't yet put my finger on.  So I would hope the two would be separately toggleable, personally.

Maybe this could be addressed in some/most use cases by letting users change the cell height manually? Auto-fitting feels like a more modern solution, but there are times I wouldn't want it to auto-fit (especially if there was a performance hit for doing that), and I like the idea of being able to limit it to some number of text rows or the cell height percentage that existed in ArcMap.

Hi @Miralem_Zeljo ,

Starting in Pro 3.2, we have options modify the row height of your table. With the table active, go to the Table tab on the ribbon > Appearance:

Documentation can be found here: Interact with a table—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

Please let me know if that does what you need.

Thanks!
